Elseta is pleased to announce that the eRTU CMU has successfully completed independent black-box and gray-box penetration testing conducted by Bureau Veritas.
As part of the assessment process, Elseta’s engineering team implemented firmware hardening measures and submitted the updated system for retesting. The results confirmed a significant improvement in the security posture of the eRTU CMU, including the successful remediation of all previously identified Critical and High severity findings.
The updated firmware also reduced the practical attack surface of the device, further strengthening its resilience in real-world operating conditions.
For Elseta, this achievement marks an important cybersecurity milestone. At the same time, security remains an ongoing commitment. We continue to improve firmware, strengthen system layers, and validate our solutions through independent expert assessments.
The eRTU CMU is designed for demanding utility and industrial environments, where reliability, secure remote connectivity, and long-term operational stability are essential.
We thank the Elseta development team and Bureau Veritas for their thorough work throughout the assessment process.
Secure remote monitoring and control starts with secure engineering.
