Elseta Introduces Rogowski Coil Current Transformers with Rogowski Coil Integrator

Elseta is expanding its range of power monitoring and automation solutions with Rogowski Coil Current Transformers and a dedicated Rogowski Coil Integrator, designed for flexible AC current measurement in modern electrical installations.

Rogowski coils are especially useful in applications where traditional current transformers are difficult to install. Their flexible design allows them to be mounted around existing conductors without disconnecting the power line, making them a practical solution for retrofit projects, MV substations, power monitoring systems, and fault passage indication applications.

The new Rogowski coil solution is designed to support accurate and reliable current measurement while simplifying installation in the field. The coils are lightweight, flexible, and suitable for use in demanding environments, with an IP67-rated waterproof design. A wide frequency range also makes them suitable for monitoring harmonics, transients, and other power signal behavior.

To ensure compatibility with Elseta automation and monitoring devices, the Rogowski Coil Integrator converts the coil output signal into a format suitable for Elseta equipment. This allows the solution to be used together with devices such as eRTU BCM1P, IOMod FPI, IOMod Meter, and IOMod 4Cs4Vs.
