We’re pleased to announce the release of WCC Lite firmware version 1.11.4, published on February 27, 2026 — the latest update for the WCC Lite mini remote terminal unit and gateway. This firmware brings important enhancements to data export functionality, IEC protocol support and general interface reliability, making it a valuable upgrade for all deployments.
With this update, we strongly recommend all WCCLite users update to v1.11.4 to benefit from improved performance, greater flexibility in configuration and more robust operations across industrial and utility networks.
Key improvements in v1.11.4 include:
– Data Export enhancements — The firmware now prints the full HTTP response during debug, helping troubleshoot integration with remote servers. If an HTTP response is larger than 300, the file is saved to cache and will be retried later, improving reliability for remote data pushes. Support for new configuration parameters — time_shift and snapshot_interval — gives finer control over export timing and batching.
– IEC10x protocol upgrades — Stability and interoperability continue to improve with a fixed IEC103-master initialization process and updated Class 1/2 data request logic. Support for ASDU type 8 for Siemens relays has been added, extending compatibility with industrial protection and control equipment.
– General improvements — Both integral and absolute threshold logic can now be used simultaneously, offering greater flexibility in signal condition handling and alarm logic setups.
– Modbus slave stability fixes — Endianness issues in master-slave conversions have been resolved, ensuring consistent interpretation of data registers between systems and firming up communications with Modbus-connected devices.
