RTU for substations – Ponline Butler RTU

Overview

Kries-Energietechnik GmbH & Co. KG developed a Universal tele-control solution for transformer stations for new installations and retrofit projects called the PonLine Butler-RTU series.

The PonLine Butler-RTU connects distribution network stations very easily and cost-effectively to higher-level tele-control levels. Via secure connections, the data can be transmitted e.g. via IEC 60870-5-104 or MQTT. An integrated UPS module buffers data of the connected devices in case of power failure.

The system is unique in his simplicity and wide posibilities. This solution includes integrated small Kries UPS system as well small footprint as an advantage of Kries UPS and Elseta miniRTU.
